Building Maintenance Worker - Marshall

Overview

Job status: Full-time (40 hours/week), 12 months per year, start as soon as possible.
Location: Marshall, MN. Build and maintain a functional, presentable building by serving as the Building Maintenance Worker.

Join our team to troubleshoot, fix structures, and apply hands-on maintenance skills to keep the building in excellent condition.

  Clean, dust, and polish floors, walls, windows, and other surfaces.

  Manage landscaping and ensure the safety of employees and clients.

  Perform routine maintenance and coordinate with Supervisors on larger repairs.

  Set up, move, and dismantle equipment for programs, meetings, and special events.

• Understanding of maintenance scenarios, construction plans, and building codes.
• Strong communication skills with staff, contractors, and community members.
• Ability to handle basic computer tasks.
• Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Ability to oversee projects to ensure specifications are met and completed.

• High School Diploma or GED
• One to three years of maintenance experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Salary range of $17.45 - $26.55 per hour, plus benefits.
• Full-time position (40 hours/week), 12 months.
