As a Housekeeping & Maintenance Team Member, you will:

• Maintain a Clean & Hygienic Hospital: Perform daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed cleaning duties throughout the hospital, including exam rooms, restrooms, kennels, and common areas.
• Follow Strict Sanitation Protocols: Disinfect surfaces, manage biohazard waste, and uphold sterility standards in medical areas.
• Manage Laundry Duties: Collect, wash, dry, fold, and restock clean linens.
• Perform Basic Maintenance: Change light bulbs, clear floor drains, restock dispensers, and handle minor repairs.
• Outdoor & Exterior Upkeep: Sweep sidewalks, shovel snow, maintain dog waste stations, and remove debris from the parking lot and surrounding areas.
• Monitor & Report Issues: Identify maintenance concerns and promptly report equipment malfunctions or supply needs to management.

The ideal candidate for this position is:

• Detail-Oriented & Reliable: Takes pride in cleanliness and follows protocols with accuracy.
• Physically Capable: Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs during a shift.
• Self-Motivated: Can work independently and stay on top of tasks without constant supervision.
• Positive & Professional: Maintains a friendly and respectful attitude while working around pets, clients, and staff.
• Comfortable Around Animals: Able to work in an environment with various species, including dogs, cats, and exotics.
• Committed to Safety & Hygiene: Understands or is willing to learn biohazard waste disposal and infection control protocols.

Previous cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial experience is a plus, but not required. Experience in a veterinary, healthcare, or medical setting is helpful.
