Technician 2 Job Martinsburg area,West Virginia USA,Maintenance/Cleaning

Implement the job to its entirety per SOP if Senior Tech is not onsite.

Can communicate with customers and crew members in a professional manner.

Can communicate issues and help troubleshoot with management/ supervisor if Senior Tech is not available.

Helps with implementation and performance of the project. Could include helping with equipment checklists, pre/ post job checklists, as well as pre and post trip logs.

Helps in record keeping on and offsite, tools and vehicle maintenance depending on the specific project.

Ensure projects are worked in a timely and efficient manner.

Can assist in pre-job site surveys.

Contributes to improving existing programs by providing valuable input.

Understands the capabilities of flush equipment and all tools.

Can provide input into design of new equipment.

Maintains client confidence and protects operations.

Works with a positive attitude and adapts to learning new things.

Regular attendance and punctuality is a requirement for this position.

A Professional and courteous manner and an ability to work harmoniously with other employees and customers.

Drive defensively in company vehicles as well as on Purge Rite time including jobsites.

Follows and helps enforce Purge Rite safety procedures onsite and at shop.

Helps with writing quality flush reports if needed.

Can read and comprehend flush plan for assigned job.

Understands and can help balance a system when needed.

All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent required plus one-year practical training.
Valid driver's license
Safe and insurable driving record
Mechanical aptitude
Must be able to pass drug tests as well as background checks
21 years of age
CDL NOT REQUIRED BUT ENCOURAGED.

Work Environment / Conditions

In the performance of the job duties, the employee will work in a variety of environments including construction sites, schools, hospitals etc. This position will primarily work outside in all types of weather conditions and environments including but is not limited to wet/ or humid conditions, very warm climates and cold climates. Employee must be able to lift and or move up to 80 pounds.

Must be able to be on feet for an extended amount of time.
