Position Summary:The Lead technician is responsible for leading and directing a team of A&P technicians during the inspection and repair phase of the job. the Team lead will perform pre and post maintenance aircraft run-ups, plan the workflow of the aircraft visit in the maintenance shop, inspect the aircraft alongside the team, order parts as needed, and ensure the work quality and safety are being adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:- Performing inspection tasks as assigned by the DOM
- performing the maintenance tasks which are assigned using appropriate technical data and FARS
- ensure proper tagging, inspection, and identification of parts and components
- be thoroughly familiar with inspection methods, techniques and equipment
- be thoroughly familiar with standard troubleshooting and repair procedures
- determining when operational flight checks are necessary for returning aircraft to service
- lead an maintenance crew in their duties and responsibilities to ensure that the aircraft completion is within customers expectations, and returned to service par the repair station procedures.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in part 91 aircraft maintenance and inspection; experience with Daher TBM aircraft is a plus.
- Proven leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-quality maintenance environment.
