Job Overview

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for an Equipment Operator Trainee at our Midshore II Regional Landfill in Ridgely, MD. This position provides equipment operation services for MES clients at field locations.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated Pay Range: $41,515.16 - $57,083.16

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduation from a standard high school or GED equivalency certification.
  • Limited experience with heavy construction equipment is acceptable.
  • Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
  • CDL Class A is preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy construction equipment to support MES clients at field locations.
Additional Information

This position will be open until filled. Candidates who apply after an on-spot offer has been extended (including internal candidates) will not be considered unless the candidate who receives the offer does not complete the process to become an MES employee. Any offer of employment will be contingent upon successfully completing required pre-employment screens, including full background check, drug & alcohol screening, and a position appropriate physical.
