Housekeeping Porter​/Floor Tech

Lorien Mount Airy is seeking a dedicated Porter / Floor Technician to join our Environmental Services team.

As a Floor Technician, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, patients, visitors, and staff. Your work helps ensure our community remains comfortable, attractive, and well-maintained every day.

• Clean, maintain, and restore various floor surfaces throughout the facility.
• Operate floor care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, and vacuums.
• Strip, wax, buff, and polish floors to maintain a professional appearance.
• Clean carpets and perform routine floor maintenance as scheduled.
• Collect and dispose of trash throughout the facility.
• Assist with housekeeping duties and special cleaning projects as needed.
• Follow all infection control, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any repair needs to management.
• Ensure common areas remain clean, safe, and presentable for residents and visitors.
• Full Time & Part-Time availability

• Every Other Weekend rotation - Saturday/Sunday
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25-50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
