, is seeking a full-time Maintenance/Facilities Technician
. Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this position is responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, repairing, and maintaining school facilities.
Essential Functions
- Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Assist with miscellaneous facility projects, including painting, landscaping, drywall repair, carpentry, fixture installation, and moving furniture or materials throughout the facility.
- Assist with the setup and cleanup of school events, meetings, and activities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance duties.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for students and staff.
Position Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform manual labor.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00, Hourly
