Public Works Associate

Our client, a municipal government organization, is seeking a Public Works Associate to join their team. As a Public Works Associate, you will be part of the Public Works Department supporting community infrastructure and maintenance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate dependability, motivation, and a strong work ethic, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Public Works Associate

Location: Williamsport, MD

Pay Range: $35360 - $43600

Shift: Day

• Perform mowing, trimming, mulching, planting, weed removal, and general landscaping duties
• Maintain parks, grounds, and municipal facilities
• Perform custodial duties including cleaning and upkeep of Town buildings
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely
• Assist with road repairs, pothole patching, street painting, and roadway improvements

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to safely operate tools, equipment, and machinery
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

• Competitive hourly pay starting from $17.00 per hour, commensurate with experience
