Asbury Ridge is looking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our Environmental Services team and help maintain a clean, safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for our residents, guests, and team members.

What You'll Do

As the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of the Environmental Services Department and ensure high standards of cleanliness throughout the community.

  • Supervise, train, and support Environmental Services/Housekeeping team members.
  • Plan, assign, and monitor daily housekeeping assignments and work schedules.
  • Ensure resident rooms, common areas, offices, bathrooms, and other community spaces are cleaned and maintained to high standards.
  • Develop and follow comprehensive cleaning and sanitation programs.
  • Ensure public and private bathrooms are clean, disinfected, and properly stocked.
  • Coordinate emergency cleaning needs, including spills and other situations that may impact resident, team member, or guest safety.
  • Oversee terminal cleaning and preparation of rooms for new residents.
  • Inspect completed work and conduct regular quality audits to ensure housekeeping standards are consistently met.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation related to cleaning services, safety concerns, inspections, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are properly used, maintained, stored, and readily available.
  • Identify and report safety concerns, equipment issues, supply needs, and maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Director or appropriate leadership.
  • Assist with developing and updating Environmental Services policies and procedures.
  • Support the community during regulatory surveys and inspections.
  • Ensure department operations comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as community policies and procedures.
  • Respond professionally to questions, concerns, or complaints from residents, families, guests, employees, and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous housekeeping, environmental services, hospitality, healthcare, or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to train, coach, and hold team members accountable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Professional, dependable, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively with residents, families, guests, and team members.
  • Ability to read, understand, and communicate in English as necessary to safely perform the position.
  • Must meet applicable state and federal requirements.
Physical Requirements

This is an active, hands-on position. The Housekeeping Supervisor must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, lift up to 50 pounds or more, climb, twist, carry, and perform other physical activities associated with maintaining a clean and safe community.

The position may also involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, medical equipment, and individuals who may have a risk of illness.
