Mason City Schools - 1st Shift Custodian

Mason City School District, Mason Early Childhood Center, Mason, Ohio.

Position:
Custodian; 8 paid hours per day with a 1/2 hour unpaid lunch.

Location:

Mason Early Childhood Center. Shift: 1st Shift Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• Follow a daily schedule of cleaning, sweeping, vacuuming, and dusting in all areas assigned by the supervisor.
• Clean furniture, shades, drapes, windows, restrooms, doors, and storage areas as assigned.
• Report in writing to administration any observations requiring repair or maintenance attention.
• Secure the building at night.
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or head custodian.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pass a BCI and FBI criminal background check.
• Ability to bend, twist, stoop, squat, and lift in excess of 50 lbs on a routine and ongoing basis.
• Reliable transportation to travel between buildings/departments.
• Proven history of good attendance.

Salary range is $19.31 to $28.05 depending on experience.
