Position Overview As a Mover/Helper at Flex Moving and Storage, you will play a key role in delivering an exceptional moving experience for our customers. This role focuses on the physical and operational aspects of moving loading, unloading, packing, and protecting customer belongings without driving responsibilities. Movers/Helpers work closely with the Field Lead and other team members to ensure safe, efficient, and professional moves that meet Flexs service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and carry furniture, boxes, and other household or office items.
• Pack and protect customer belongings using blankets, shrink wrap, straps, and other materials to prevent damage.
• Assist in disassembling and reassembling furniture as needed.
• Follow instructions from the Field Lead to execute move plans efficiently.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in trucks, storage units, and customer locations.
• Handle all items with care and respect, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
  
  Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies during moves.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members throughout the job.
• Assist with inventory checks and verification of items being moved.
• Perform basic equipment and supply checks to ensure readiness for each job.

Qualifications

• Prior moving, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly throughout the day.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to follow directions.
• Good communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and peak business days.

• Day Shift (Required)
• Night Shift (Required)
• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

• 18 years or older
