Job SummaryPlans, directs and controls the efforts of the Maintenance Department to maintain plant equipment and facilities commensurate with good engineering practices.
Hours:
3rd Shift – 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM, Sunday through Friday.
- Manage the preventive maintenance program and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Develop, maintain, and administer a qualified organization to maintain all equipment and facilities in a safe and efficient working condition. Execute an effective preventive maintenance program to minimize unscheduled downtime.
- Maintain all operating equipment in satisfactory condition. Schedule needed repairs to minimize interference.
- Consult with other departments regarding desirable modifications of existing equipment and facilities and possible replacement of existing equipment to improve operations and reduce maintenance costs.
- Coordinate the efficient operation of facilities with project engineers.
- Coordinate and oversee the efficient maintenance of all plant transportation equipment.
- Analyze cost studies of equipment in the department to secure reduced operating costs. Make recommendations to the Plant Manager.
- Develop objectives and performance standards for projects within the Maintenance Department to meet departmental, divisional, and corporate goals and objectives.
- Plan and provide for adequate supply and control over spare parts and maintenance supplies.
- Provide leadership and maintenance training to MRF Maintenance Technicians.
- Ensure preventative inspections and corrective repairs meet or exceed company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. (accredited)
- 4 years of relevant work experience beyond the education requirement

PayThe expected base pay range for this position is $71,530 – $96,890.
