Housekeeper, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Cushing Academy, a culturally diverse residential boarding school serving 9th grade through post‑grad in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, seeks a housekeeper who will provide excellent and dedicated service, maintaining a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for those who work and live on campus.

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors
• Clean all interior furnishings, including upholstery
• Clean and sanitize restrooms and bathrooms
• Vacuum and wash carpets
• Remove trash and recycling
• At the end of each school year and summer session, complete the interior cleaning of student and common areas
• May be required to work weekends, nights, and special functions as assigned

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Operate floor machines
• Climb and work off a ladder
• Carry loads up and down multiple flights of stairs
• Bend, squat, lift, and turn without restriction
• Full‑time day shift position, 6 a.m. – 2 p.m.
• Position is based on a minimum of a forty‑hour workweek unless stated otherwise upon employment
