Door Specialist​/Technician - Bristol Meyers

Our client, a leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing and facility management, is seeking a Door Specialist/Technician to join their team. As a Door Specialist/Technician, you will be part of the Facility Management team supporting a large, diverse campus. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills, and a commitment to safety and quality, which will align successfully in the organization.

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of doors including dock levelers, exterior sliding gates, and high-speed roll-up doors

+ Install, configure, and maintain electronic access control systems such as proximity sensors, mag locks, and key access devices

+ Perform mechanical inspections and checks on door hardware, ensuring proper functionality and safety compliance

+ Support general maintenance activities like patching, painting, minor plumbing, and furniture repairs

+ Document work performance, maintain safety standards, and communicate effectively with team members and management

** What's Needed?*
* + High School diploma or GED equivalent

+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot various door and gate systems

+

Experience with brands such as Stanley, Dormakaba, Tormax, Chase, ASI, Schlage, or similar

+ Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems related to doors and access hardware

+ Willingness to work in a team environment and maintain consistent attendance
