The following is a listing of various job openings that are currently available. Click on any of the title(s) for further details.

• Inspects vehicles bringing refuse to the disposal area to assure that they are authorized to use the disposal area; monitors refuse disposal; directs the general public to the appropriate recycling location depending on the type of recyclable material.
• Enforces regulations by watching the activities of people using the disposable area; forbids the disposal of unacceptable materials or substances; assures the materials are deposited in the proper location for disposal or recycling.
• May be responsible for opening and closing of the disposal area. Reports any accidents or maintenance issues immediately.
• Complies with all applicable federal, state, and environmental regulations.
• Follows all safety requirements. Complies with Town and facility safety policies and adheres to OSHA safety standards.
• Performs all duties of a laborer as assigned;
  May be required to conduct simple repair work to refuse equipment, and perform general maintenance of site such as sweeping and raking.

• Must possess and maintain a valid MA driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Physical Requirements:
  
  Must be able to independently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, several times per day and perform team lifts up to 100 pounds several times per day. Required to walk and stand for long periods of time during work shift. Must be able to see, hear and verbally communicate in loud environments, and bend/stoop/twist/climb/reach/grasp. Must be able to manipulate and work with power and hand tools.
