Front Desk, Maintenance​/Cleaning

Location: West Boylston

Part-Time Evening Gym Staff Monday–Friday | 5:00 PM–9:00 PM
20 hours per week


We are looking for an experienced, dependable, self-motivated individual to join our evening team.

Gym experience is preferred. This position is best suited for someone who already understands how a fitness facility operates and can confidently handle responsibilities without needing constant direction.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous gym/fitness facility experience preferred.
• Experience with gym cleaning, equipment upkeep, and maintaining a clean facility
• Strong understanding of member safety and safe gym practices
• Ability to consistently enforce and follow company policies and procedures
• Comfortable working independently and making responsible decisions
• Reliable, punctual, and accountable
• Professional and friendly with members
• Able to handle front-desk responsibilities, including member check-ins, questions, account assistance, and general customer service
• Able to identify and address cleanliness, safety, and equipment concerns
• Comfortable moving, tilting, and repositioning gym equipment when necessary
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Comfortable being on your feet and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to stay productive without being constantly reminded what needs to be done

This Position Requires Someone Who Can Work Independently


We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their shift. You should be able to walk into the gym, recognize what needs to be done, prioritize your responsibilities, and get the job done without someone standing over you.

You will be expected to:

• Keep the facility clean and organized
• Maintain a safe environment for members and staff
• Complete cleaning and maintenance-related tasks
• Monitor equipment and report issues appropriately
• Follow all policies and procedures consistently
• Provide excellent member service
• Handle front-desk responsibilities
• Stay productive throughout the entire shift
• Complete evening/closing responsibilities as assigned

If you need to be constantly reminded what to do, this probably isn’t the position for you. We need someone who is dependable, capable, and takes pride in their work.
