Industrial Maintenance Foreman

Waste Management (WM) seeks an Industrial Maintenance Foreman to lead a team maintaining equipment at our Houston-area environmental facilities. In this on-site role, you will organize daily work, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and oversee preventive maintenance to ensure safe, reliable operations. You'll enforce strict safety standards, manage work orders in CMMS, coordinate with operations to minimize downtime, mentor technicians, and support WM's sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule, and direct industrial maintenance technicians across WM facilities.
• Perform and oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Implement and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs using CMMS tools.
• Ensure strict adherence to WM safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout and OSHA requirements.
• Coordinate with operations to plan maintenance that minimizes downtime and service disruption.
• Inspect equipment, identify reliability risks, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
• Train, mentor, and evaluate maintenance staff to build skills and maintain high performance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage documentation.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
• Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives within plant operations.
