Navigator Homes of Martha's Vineyard is seeking a Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home for our residents and team members. This role performs daily cleaning throughout the homes and reports maintenance or safety concerns to the Director of Environmental Services.
Responsibilities- Clean resident rooms and shared areas daily.
- Identify and report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions.
- Collect trash, disinfect and reline trash cans.
- Dust walls, lampshades, and other surfaces.
- Refill paper towels, soap, and hand sanitizer.
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched items, including light switches, remote controls, lamps, and call bells.
- Complete other related cleaning duties as assigned.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean, hygienic environment.
- Ability to follow cleaning procedures and work respectfully in residents' homes.
- Dependability and the ability to communicate concerns to a supervisor.
