Maintenance Supervisor

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for hands-on operations of all facility equipment.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Assist/organize repairs as needed

• Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant equipment

• Ensure and equipment is functioning and report issues to management

• Install and maintain new equipment

• Troubleshoot mechanical and/or electrical issues

Qualifications - Skills and Competencies

• Working knowledge electrical repair

• Working knowledge of plumbing repair

• General handy man expertise

• Knowledge of state nursing home regulations

• Ability to work extended hours and weekends as needed

• Ability to lift 40 pounds

• Ability to work independently

Requirements

• General, if not better than average knowledge of power equipment, electric and plumbing

• Strong communication skills

• Work well in team environment

• 1-3 years experience as nursing home maintenance supervisor
