Auto Technician - General Service; Part-Time

Part-Time Sunday-Tuesday or Thursday-Saturday

You ll perform light-duty work as an intermediate-level auto tech. You will improve your skills in a supportive environment. Other responsibilities include:

• Gain familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices.
• Perform auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush, spark plugs, and vehicle inspection.
• Perform battery testing, maintenance, and replacement and repair of starting and charging electrical systems.
• Perform various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components.
• Diagnose and repair brake systems, steering and suspension systems.
• Perform an evacuation and recharge on the AC system.
• Perform maintenance on equipment.
• Utilize approved vendors to obtain parts.
• May upfit new vehicles with necessary equipment
• Complies with applicable procedures and regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires, and disposable trash.

You re a quick learner - especially when it comes to cars and how they work. You re a team player who always arrives at the shop ready to provide excellent work. You also have the following qualifications:

• 1 or more years of related work experience.
• The ability to drive standard, automatic, and electric vehicles.
• Safe drivers needed; valid driver s license required

• A high school diploma or GED

MSCOX

USD 16.63 - 24.90 per hour

Hourly pay rate is in the range of $16.63 - $24.90/hour. The hourly base rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include commission (annual, monthly, etc.) and/or an incentive program.
