Responsibilities- Serve as a front-line leader responsible for executing daily operations at a Prime Air Drone Delivery Station, overseeing flight operations, ground handling, and fulfillment to ensure safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery performance.
- Drive key operational metrics including safety, quality, and delivery efficiency; monitor real-time operations to remove barriers and maintain system uptime; partner with Operations Managers and cross-functional teams to execute staffing and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards; identify and implement process improvements; develop and coach associates; provide clear escalation and communication during active operations.
- Directly manage a team of hourly associates, overseeing scheduling, performance management, and day-to-day coaching and development.
- In partnership with HR, address associate relations matters including attendance, performance concerns, and corrective action; maintain accurate timekeeping, headcount tracking, and staffing records for the team.
- Travel may be required up to 25% of the time.
- Export Control considerations may apply; placement is contingent on the ability to obtain an export control license.
- 1+ years of direct people management, including performance management and employee development experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience
- Experience in a fast-paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Ability to work in variable noise, temperature, and weather conditions, including outside environments
- Experience reviewing and analyzing performance metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement
- Physical ability to carry up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Demonstrated record of good attendance and punctuality
- Experience working cross-functionally with tech teams
- Prior experience in the drone/aerospace industry

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package may include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location.
