• The ideal person for this role would have broad experience and/or knowledge in several areas:
• Bachelor's degree in related field, preferred occupational safety and health, or environmental science.
• Relevant certifications such as OSHA Safety Certificate required, and Certified Safety Professional (CSP), EHS, ISO, or similar preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in Environmental Health and Safety roles, understanding of U.S. safety/environmental laws.
• Knowledge of Regulations:
Strong understanding of environmental health and safety regulations and standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective training and reporting.
• Analytical
Skills:
Ability to assess risks and develop effective safety protocols.
• Keen attention to details: A meticulous approach to identifying hazards and ensuring compliance.
• Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
