Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator supports procurement operations by managing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to support manufacturing operations. This role helps maintain inventory levels, control costs, and keep production running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, process, and track purchase orders for raw materials, components, and supplies.
  • Request supplier quotes, confirm pricing, and coordinate delivery timelines.
  • Monitor inventory levels and help forecast material needs with production and warehouse teams.
  • Ensure materials arrive on time to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and supplier records in the ERP system.
  • Resolve invoice, shipment, and quality discrepancies.
  • Review purchasing data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve supplier performance.
  • Coordinate with production, engineering, quality, and finance teams.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations and maintain strong vendor relationships.
  • Follow purchasing procedures and company policies.
Requirements
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain and procurement processes.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Bilingual in Korean and English required.
