We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Assemblers to join our production team in an ESS (Energy Storage System) battery packaging and electronics manufacturing plant in Matteson, IL. This role supports the assembly of battery modules, packs, and electronic components in a safety-focused and fast-paced production environment.

Matteson, IL - Shifts:
Day 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Night 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM (12‑hour shifts; 4 days work & 4 days off) - Hourly Pay:
Day $17 | Night $18 — Paid every Friday - Benefits:
Medical, Vision, Dental (after 60 days), PTO (after 1 year)
- Assemble battery components, electrical modules, subassemblies, and related electronic parts according to work instructions, SOPs, and blueprints.
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and accurately to complete tasks.
- Inspect assembled parts for quality, completeness, and compliance with specifications.
- Report assembly findings, defects, and non‑conformances to team leads or quality personnel.
- Maintain production documentation and complete required checklists.
- Follow all plant safety procedures, including proper PPE usage and cleanliness standards.
- Assist with material handling and staging, ensuring proper parts are available for assembly work.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in workflow, process efficiency, and quality.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Reliable attendance, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.
- Must be willing to work a 12-hour shift schedule and adhere to shift start times.
- Steel-toe shoes and safety vest required on all shifts; cell phone use prohibited during work.
- Must pass a drug test and background screening.
