Assistant Director Of Nursing – ADON/RN

Generations at Applewood, Matteson, IL, has an opening for an Assistant Director of Nursing – ADON. This is a full time role with a salary starting at $110-115k, depending upon qualifications and experience. Must be a registered nurse (RN) with a few years of skilled nursing facility or LTACH management/supervisory experience, not just hospital.

Hours are 9a-5p weekdays and must be willing to be in on-call every other weekend.

Responsibilities of the Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON (Clinical Services Supervisor):

• The Assistant Director of Nursing - ADON collaborates with the Director of Nursing – DON (Director of Clinical Services)
• Ensures care plans are implemented and delivered in a timely and efficient manner
• Manages the clinical team, develops programs and provides education to staff
• Plans and evaluates nursing systems, rotations and methods

Requirements:

• Current registered nurse (RN) licensed in the State of Illinois
• Must have at least three (3) years of experience as a registered nurse (RN)
• Must have long-term care experience & knowledge of SNF regulations
• Must have leadership and critical thinking skills
• ICU or ventilator experience a plus
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for older adults
