Key Responsibilities:
* Primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance systems. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, conduct tests, and work with other departments to ensure products meet quality standards.
* Quality Control Systems:
Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines.
* Testing and Inspection:
Conduct tests and inspections of products and processes to identify defects and ensure they meet technical specifications.
* Problem Solving:
Identify issues in production processes and recommend solutions to improve product quality and performance.
* Documentation:
Create and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records.
* Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and support, to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
* Supplier Quality Management:
Evaluate and monitor supplier quality performance, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Required
Skills & Qualifications
* Education:
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees may be preferred for managerial roles.
* Experience:
Relevant work experience in quality engineering or quality systems is essential, 3-5 years in the field.
* Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical analysis, and testing methodologies is crucial.
* Attention to Detail:
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are necessary to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.
* Communication
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control
* Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion Systems) - Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance for international markets
* Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent In-Person Role
