Second Shift- Shipping and Receiving Clerk

At CJ Logistics America, we are looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This role is the first point of contact for drivers, ensuring shipments arrive and leave smoothly.

• Pay Range: $21–$23 per hour + $0.75 per hour shift differential
• Schedule: Second Shift A – Tuesday to Saturday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am
• Schedule: Second Shift B – Sunday to Thursday 3:30 pm to 12:00 am

• Greet and direct drivers; sign in/out drivers, verify paperwork, and assign dock doors.
• Maintain trailer inventory accurately with real‑time updates on doors and yard reports.
• Coordinate yard moves and work with spotters to keep yard activity smooth.
• Process Bills of Lading and reconcile shipments with packing slips.
• Maintain accurate schedules, door reports, and trailer inventory.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Match inbound loads with packing slips and manage drop‑lot activity.
• Keep inbound and outbound schedules to maintain seamless operations.
• Report discrepancies to leadership to keep operations running smoothly.
• Collaborate with shift management and leads to achieve shift goals.
• Participate actively in training programs to stay current.
• Perform all tasks safely and on time.
• Take on additional duties as needed.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented and able to juggle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player who works well with others to achieve shift goals.
