Job Duties
Loyola Medicine treats the whole person with compassion—to "also treat the human spirit." We are seeking a Dynamic Scheduler to schedule patient appointments in conjunction with orders, urgency of care and patient convenience, involving multiple sites when appropriate.
SchedulingMonitors physicians' schedules daily for optimal physician schedule.
Insurance VerificationUtilizes insurance verification procedures to ensure maximum reimbursement and correct payment.
Computer ApplicationsProficient in clinical, registration and scheduling software systems. Learns new systems as required.
Telephone UtilizationEfficiently and effectively manages a high volume of telephone calls to the service area. Answers calls using telephone customer service skills and maintains 95% customer telephone skill level.
Position Requirements Required- Associate’s Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
- Minimum of 3 years of previous job‑related experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Rep, highly preferred
- Minimum of 3 years training in general administrative, business, healthcare, or related field

CompensationPay Range: $21.12 – $25.53 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
