The Maywood Public Library District is seeking a positive, customer service oriented person to be part of the library team. This position works in both Adult Services and Youth Services.
Library Assistant
Part time, 18 hours/week
Evenings and Saturdays required
$15-17 DOQ
Primary duties include
- Assisting in the Adult and Youth Services departments with patron reference interactions and programming.
- Support the planning and execution of events and activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons of all ages.
- Assist in the library's Adult and Youth Services computer labs.
- Some college preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a library or customer service setting.
- Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
- Monday, 9:00-1:00
- Tuesday, 5:00-9:00
- Wednesday, 11:00-5:00
- Thursday, 9:00-1:00
- Occasional Saturdays
