Job Description Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) | Part-Time | Illinois |  School Year

Clarifi Staffing Solutions is partnering with an Illinois school district to welcome a dedicated Teacher of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) for the  school year. This part-time, in-person opportunity is perfect for an educator who is passionate about fostering communication, independence, and academic success for students with hearing differences.

Working 2-3 days each week, you'll collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to deliver individualized instruction that supports each student's unique communication and learning goals. Your expertise will help create meaningful educational experiences while encouraging confidence and lifelong success.

Position Snapshot

This school-year assignment offers a consistent 2-3 days-per-week schedule in an on-site educational setting. You'll provide specialized instruction, partner with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to individualized educational planning, and promote an inclusive classroom environment where every student has the opportunity to thrive.

Requirements

Candidates should possess excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills, along with a passion for supporting students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required. Applicants must hold a valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) endorsement. At least a bachelor's degree or higher in Deaf Education or a related field is also required.
