We’re not your typical staffing agency. We’re a small, mission-driven team created by therapists and educators who wanted better. After working in school districts and as contractors ourselves, we built Ampersand Therapy to offer an alternative that prioritizes professional respect, genuine support, and community-driven values.
Our Values
- Equity & Inclusion:
We advocate for anti-racism in schools, support inclusive practices, and partner with organizations like The Conscious Kid. - Community Engagement:
We give back—through donations, volunteer work, and support of organizations like Special Olympics, Project Canine, and The Moth. - Environmental Responsibility:
We’re committed to sustainability by minimizing waste, using digital systems, and maintaining a carbon-negative footprint.
Ampersand Therapy is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome and celebrate professionals of all races, identities, backgrounds, and abilities. We are committed to building an environment of belonging and professional respect. We’re a small business, local to many of the areas we hire in, and are proud to be women, minority, and therapist-founded and run. We began our career working in schools both as district and contract employees.
We sought to create an alternative to working with big staffing companies. The result is a small team of like-minded specialists who are striving to create a company that we would want to work for. Because we are therapists ourselves, we are deeply appreciative of and understand the work that you do. We’re also in a unique position to be able to support and mentor those who are new to this practice area.
We’re so passionate about students that we’re often working in the schools ourselves. You might find us doing treatments alongside you!
