Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machinist to operate a variety of machines to perform assigned tasks. You will produce precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Set up, program, operate, and maintain CNC and manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment.
  • Manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, sketches, and work instructions.
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and equipment required for each stage of the manufacturing process.
  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficient production.
  • Detect machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and make necessary adjustments.
  • Inspect finished parts using precision measuring and inspection tools to verify conformance to specifications.
  • Analyze parts for quality, identify defects, and make modifications or corrections as needed.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.
  • Operate CNC programming software and make program edits when required.
  • Monitor cutting speeds, feeds, and machine performance to optimize production.
  • Deburr, smooth, and finish machined parts to meet quality standards.
  • Ensure all manufactured components meet company quality standards and customer specifications.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team members to resolve production issues and improve manufacturing processes.
Qualification / Requirements
  • Knowledge of the properties of metal and other materials.
  • Proven experience as a machinist.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
  • Good at math with analytical abilities.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective manufacturing plans based on specifications.
  • Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot issues that arise during the manufacturing process.
