Specialty Post Surgical – a fast‑paced unit caring for a wide variety of surgical patients (orthopedics, neurosurgery, bariatric, plastics, colorectal, surgical oncology). Patients typically stay 2‑4 days on a 32‑bed unit with all private rooms. The unit offers opportunities for leadership training, charge nurse responsibilities, and participation on unit‑based committees.

- A Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing – BSN or ADN
- BLS provider (certified by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire
BSN: $36.05 – $59.92 per hour. ADN: $32.90 – $57.06 per hour. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, qualifications, education, licensure, certification, and comparison to similar roles.
