Registered Nurse Neurology

Full‑time Registered Nurse (RN) for a 12‑hour night shift on the Neurosciences unit at Loyola University Medical Center, approximately 30 minutes from downtown Chicago.

Unit description: 20‑bed medical‑surgical unit specializing in neurology, neurosurgery, ENT, and OMFS. Patient population includes strokes, epilepsy, movement disorders, brain tumors, craniotomies, spinal surgeries, head and neck cancer surgeries, and oral surgeries.

• Provide direct patient care to a diverse neurological and surgical patient population.
• Administer medications, perform assessments, and document interventions per unit protocols.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in unit leadership activities, including shift handover and quality improvement initiatives.

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or applicable licensure.
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient nursing experience.
• Knowledge of neurological and surgical nursing practices (preferred).

• BSN pay range: $36.05 – $59.92 per hour.
• ADN pay range: $32.97 – $57.06 per hour.
