Overview

Radiology Registered Nurses (RNs) provide dedicated, exceptional patient care across a broad range of imaging procedures.

Full time

Day Shift

5x8’s, Day Shift. 7:30am‑4pm and 9am‑5:30pm. Rotation of weekends and holidays 7:30am‑4pm.

Loyola University Medical Center, Maywood

• Coverage of all imaging procedures: CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging.
• Support of a variety of procedures, including pre‑ and post‑procedure calls and anesthesia/sedation recovery.

• IV access, including difficult access patients
• Medication administration
• Sedation monitoring & recovery
• Pre‑ and post‑procedure assessment, including clearance (lab)
• Hemodynamic monitoring
• Basic telemetry rhythm recognition

• Rapid identification of patient deterioration
• Ability to escalate appropriately (RRT, code protocols)
• Infection prevention, especially for procedural breast imaging

• High‑level patient education on procedures, risks, and consent support
• Anxiety management
• Strong interdisciplinary communication

• A degree from an accredited nursing school (BSN or ADN)
• BLS Provider status (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire
• Illinois Board of Nursing license required prior to hire

BSN pay range: $36.05 – $59.92 per hour. ADN pay range: $32.90 – $57.06 per hour. Actual compensation will vary based on experience, qualifications, and other factors.
