Job Overview:
Radiology Registered Nurse will cover all imaging procedures—including CT, MRI, Fluoroscopy, Nuclear Medicine, and Breast Imaging—and support a variety of procedures such as pre‑ and post‑calls, anesthesia or sedation recovery, and more.

Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive coverage for all radiology imaging procedures.
- Support pre‑ and post‑procedure care, including anesthesia and sedation recovery.
- Administer medication and manage IV access, including difficult access patients.
- Monitor sedation and facilitate rapid recovery.
- Perform pre‑ and post‑procedure assessments, including clearance labs.
- Conduct hemodynamic monitoring and basic telemetry rhythm recognition.
- Rapidly identify patient deterioration and initiate escalation to RRT or code protocols.
- Maintain infection prevention practices, especially for procedural breast imaging.
- Deliver high‑level patient education regarding procedures, risks, and consent support.
- Manage patient anxiety and communicate effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
Registered Nurse (RN) with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
- Valid Illinois Board of Nursing license.
- BLS certification accredited by the American Heart Association.
Preferred Skills and Attributes:
- Clinical & Technical Skills—IV access, medication administration, sedation monitoring and recovery, pre/post‑procedure assessment.
- Hemodynamic monitoring, telemetry rhythm recognition, and emergency response competencies.
- Strong critical thinking, safety orientation, and infection prevention knowledge.
- Excellent patient education and communication skills.
BSN: $36.05 - $59.92 per hour
ADN: $32.90 - $57.06 per hour (final pay varies based on experience, qualifications, location, and other factors).

Schedule5x8 day shifts with rotation of weekends and holidays: 7:30am–4:00pm and 9:00am–5:30pm.
