Registered Nurse (RN), Emergency Department (ED) – Full Time, Nights. 3–12 hour shifts, 7 p‑7:30a. Hourly rate $35.35 to $53.58 an hour.

ResponsibilitiesThe RN provides rapid, high‑quality nursing care to patients with acute illness, injury, and life‑threatening conditions in a fast‑paced Emergency Department.
- Assess, prioritize, and triage patients using established clinical protocols.
- Provide emergency nursing care, treatments, and life‑saving interventions.
- Administer medications, blood products, and IV therapies as ordered.
- Monitor patient condition, interpret clinical findings, and promptly communicate changes to the healthcare team.
- Assist with emergency procedures, trauma care, diagnostic testing, and patient stabilization.
- Operate and monitor emergency and life‑support equipment.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, EMS, and the interdisciplinary care team.
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Promote patient safety, quality care, and positive clinical outcomes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintenance.
- Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintenance.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days upon hire and maintenance.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital; ER setting preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- In Paramedic Base Station ED: MICN within 12 months of hire and maintenance.
- EDAP certified facilities:
Completion of emergency pediatric course 1 and 2 within 6 months of hire. - Non‑OB facilities: NRP certificate 90 days upon hire and maintenance.
- Trauma designated facilities:
Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within 12 months of hire and maintenance; TNCC preferred for non‑trauma facilities.
