Position Title
Research Assistant Professor of Bioinformatics – Ji Lab, Maywood-Health Sciences Campus, SURGERY Department, Full‑time, Exempt.
ResponsibilitiesPerform hands‑on exploratory and regulatory biomarker analysis, large‑scale proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics. Develop predictive models and identify molecular endotypes for pulmonary diseases including ARDS, sarcoidosis, sepsis, and trauma. Design data analysis plans and implement cutting‑edge bioinformatics and biostatistics methods to integrate clinical and trans‑omics datasets. Expect productivity in publications and independent grant acquisition.
QualificationsPhD or MD in bioinformatics, computer science, or biostatistics, or equivalent field.
Physical DemandsStanding; repetitive motions.

Salary Range$80,000 – $100,000 per year.
Mandatory Health RequirementsLoyola requires all Health Sciences Campus faculty and staff to be vaccinated with the original COVID‑19 and Flu vaccines when eligible.
