Salary

Minimum: $80,000/ann
Maximum: $90,000/ann

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the PI and research team to design and conduct epidemiological studies.
  • Perform statistical analyses using advanced methodologies to interpret complex public health data.
  • Ensure accurate data management and representation.
  • Assist in preparation of grants and progress reports.
  • Collaborate on manuscript writing, reviewing, editing, and preparation of presentations.
  • Work closely with the PI and multidisciplinary team members to achieve research objectives.
  • Provide support and mentorship to junior researchers and graduate students.
  • Manage and lead analysis of complex datasets, including survey and ecological data, using SAS and R.
  • Oversee data management processes to ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in large datasets to generate actionable insights.
Minimum Education and Experience
  • PhD degree in epidemiology, biostatistics, statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in biostatistics and/or epidemiology.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrable experience in data analysis and interpretation with proficiency in SAS and R.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) data analysis is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken, with ability to follow instructions, complete tasks on time, and handle confidential information.
  • Aptitude for manuscript and grant writing.
  • Exceptional problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and collaborate in a diverse team.
  • Experience in mentoring junior researchers and students is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate multiple projects, and compile comprehensive reports and presentations.
Computer Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in SAS, R, STATA, and/or SPSS.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Familiarity with data management tools and applications.
