Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 per annum
ResponsibilitiesThe main responsibilities of the Senior Staff Scientist (Abb Vie fellow) include:
- Gain hands‑on experience in all aspects of pharmacovigilance, including safety data analytics, literature surveillance, and manuscript strategy and writing
- Support project teams to advance clinical development programs
- Successfully complete selected didactic courses
- Participate in various research projects
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Doctoral Degree (MD or PhD) in a biomedical science discipline such as molecular biology, biology, biochemistry, physiology, pharmacology, microbiology, or immunology
- Minimum of 2–5 years of completed mentored postdoctoral scientific training
- At least 7 years of total work experience in a related field
PhD required. Ability to learn safety data analytics, conduct literature reviews, develop and write strategies, and support team projects advancing clinical and research development programs.
Certifications & Licenses- PhD (required)
- Intermediate proficiency with computer applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Lifting, standing, and repetitive motions are required. Working conditions include lighting, heating, ventilation, odors, noise, animal exposure, and irregular hours.
