Aetna Building Solutions is seeking a dependable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Maywood, IL.

With multiple locations and over 130 employees, we support residential and commercial construction projects across the region by providing high-quality products and dependable service.

This position plays a key role in daily warehouse operations by safely moving, storing, and handling materials while ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.

• Safely operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment
• Load and unload materials from trucks and rail shipments
• Use handheld scanners to receive, store, and pick inventory
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment
• Organize and maintain inventory within the warehouse
• Sort, stack, and safely store materials in designated areas
• Break down freight and re‑band pallets as needed
• Perform daily pre‑shift equipment inspections
• Assist will‑call customers and safely load materials
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety
• Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of warehouse experience
• 1+ years of Forklift experience (certification is a plus)
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Basic computer skills and ability to use handheld scanners
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment with moderate noise and varying weather conditions

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the shift
• Periods of sitting while operating warehouse equipment
• Ability to lift, push, and move 75 lbs.
• Starting pay: $20+/hour (based on skills and experience)
