Position: Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader with Security Clearance
Duties
* Serve as a working leader scheduling and assigning work to employees.
* Maintain a wide range of electronic control systems by performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration.
* Interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings to isolate malfunctions within integrated electronic systems.
* Evaluate electronic system performance by applying theories of circuits, wave forms, and propagation to interpret and analyze test data.
* Operate advanced test equipment to identify, isolate, and diagnose system malfunctions. Requirements Conditions of employment
* Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
* This position meets the criteria for compliance with Federal and Department of the Army Drug Free Workplace Programs. Detection of the presence of drugs is warranted. This position is subject to a pre-employment screening and random testing.
* This position is a Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban commonly referred to as Lautenberg Amendment. This act bans individuals convicted of misdemeanor domestic violence and certain others from possession or access to firearms or ammunition.
* This position requires an Arms, Ammunition and Explosives (AAE) Security Certification/Screening in accordance AR 190-11.
* This position requires the completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter to ensure the continued, required level of physical health and ability or fitness to perform the duties of the position.
* This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Qualifications Who May Apply:

However, you must be able to demonstrate, through experience shown in your written application materials that you possess the sufficient knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the work of this position without more than normal supervision.

Minimum Qualifications (Screen Out Element):
Ability to do the work of an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader without more than normal supervision. Must possess the ability to perform common duties of a working leader giving directions, demonstrate work procedures, and test and repair missile systems and components. I can utilize schematics, drawings, electronic theories and principles, operate computer controlled automatic test equipment, and utilize a variety of test equipment.

I work under normal supervision of a work leader or journey-level employee who observes tasks in progress and upon completion to make sure they are properly performed.

* Troubleshooting (Electronic Equipment) Physical Effort:
Frequently lifts objects weighing 30 to 60 pounds. All lifts over 50 pounds will be assisted with a two person lift or using a mechanical handling equipment lifting device. The two person lift limit is 100 pounds and will only be used for single events, non-routine lifts. The work requires sitting, walking bending, reaching, crouching and long periods of standing.

Working Conditions:

Work is predominately performed inside a well lighted, heated and ventilated building. Work is sometimes performed at Posts, Camps and Stations in inclement weather. Subject to injuries such as cuts and bruises, as well as burns caused by electrical shock. Working conditions are not considered in the evaluation of the job, since environmental pay is provided to compensate for the hazard elements Additional information
