Position Summary:

The Crew Lead provides supervision and support to the crew while in the shop and on-site. This person requires proficiency in all services the company provides and acts as liaison between the crew and the Owners/Operations Team. Opportunity for advancement from this role to a Division/Team Lead role. The first job of the crew lead is to support the VP of Field Operations.

Lead Duties

Anticipate and take care of crew, truck, trailer, and shop needs. Stay in communication with VP of Field Ops.

Plan ahead and take initiative. Every day before you leave the shop, look at the next day’s job. Ask the VP of Field Ops any questions about the SOW for the next day to clarify any questions.

Come early and stay late. Arrive early enough to prep the truck/trailer/materials for the jobsite. Crew members should leave the shop within 10 minutes of their scheduled start time. Everything needs to be on the truck/trailer and ready to go upon their arrival.

Save all receipts. Place all receipts in the office weekly. Held accountable for missing receipts.

Follow procedures. Don’t take shortcuts. Work through reports as a checklist and not just as a report. Do reports when/where they are supposed to be done. Ensure the job is done correctly and fully so that return trips are not needed. Aim for zero safety incidents. Focus on safety first, quality second, and speed third.

Exhibit strong leadership skills (Act as manager and coach first in partnership with other leaders, and as a crew member second).

Maintain equipment

Act as the go between person for Ever Line and the client while onsite and their crew and management when discussing crew concerns.
Quality Control:
Take accountability for quality, presentation, and safety of your crew.
Time Management
:
Know the amount of time each project should take and work to ensure crew members make strong efforts to meet job completion time expectations.
Safety
:
Ensure that all crew members have and use proper PPE.

Qualifications

PA driver’s license and clean driving record.
Self‑motivated.
Ability to work in a physically and mentally demanding role.
Ability to lift 75 pounds.
