Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 Hourly
Job Shift: Graveyard
Responsibilities- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance services on all mechanical systems equipment and components
- Repair equipment, as needed.
- Perform facility repair, as needed.
- Meet with Vendor/contractors at Allen & Plano locations for out sourced repairs
- Maintain preventive maintenance logs on all equipment and systems
- Pick up parts from Vendors/contractors
- Welding
- Replace worn components before mechanical breakdown occur
- Maintain and take periodic inventory parts, materials, and components
- Cross-train other personnel (custodial and maintenance) in visual and sound inspection of equipment to gain a timely reporting response to system trouble.
- Perform other duties as requested.
Reports To:
Chief Engineer
- High School Diploma
- Completion of trade school of the following trades:
- Tableting press preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Automatic or semi- automatic encapsulation machines preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Auger filler machine preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ribbon Blenders, V-Blender preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
- HVAC
- Pneumatic controls
