Overview

Exciting career opportunity for a Full-Time Custodial Technician.

This position is considered sensitive and may require extensive background screening processes to meet current or future Network and/or government contract needs. The Full-Time Custodial Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Performing all labor necessary to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash disposal, bathroom cleaning, fixture cleaning, waxing, mopping, and applying anti-static substances to carpets.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • High School diploma with two or more years' custodial experience.
  • Ability to achieve and maintain security clearance at the TS level.
  • Extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, and lifting.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Compliance with all company policies and standards.

Abilities

  • Lift at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
  • Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
  • Work at heights up to 60 feet, including scaffolds, aerial lifts, and ladders.
  • Perform routine movements such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
  • Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, hearing, and communication in English.
  • Use standard ladders while carrying tools within weight limits.
  • Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
  • Apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.
  • Combine information to form general rules or conclusions.
  • See details at close range.
  • Understand spoken words and sentences.
