Overview
Exciting career opportunity for a Full-Time Custodial Technician.
This position is considered sensitive and may require extensive background screening processes to meet current or future Network and/or government contract needs. The Full-Time Custodial Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Performing all labor necessary to maintain the building in a clean and orderly condition, including vacuuming, sweeping, dusting, trash disposal, bathroom cleaning, fixture cleaning, waxing, mopping, and applying anti-static substances to carpets.
- Performing other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma with two or more years' custodial experience.
- Ability to achieve and maintain security clearance at the TS level.
- Extensive walking, stooping, pushing, carrying, climbing, bending, and lifting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Compliance with all company policies and standards.
Abilities
- Lift at least 100 pounds at once and 60 pounds for extended periods.
- Relocate a 12-foot stepladder without assistance.
- Work at heights up to 60 feet, including scaffolds, aerial lifts, and ladders.
- Perform routine movements such as walking, climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and reaching overhead.
- Good vision (corrected if necessary), color vision, hearing, and communication in English.
- Use standard ladders while carrying tools within weight limits.
- Recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to produce sensible answers.
- Combine information to form general rules or conclusions.
- See details at close range.
