Dishwasher - WREN Tysons

This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all dishware and equipment, and completing general routine cleaning tasks. The role requires adherence to all health regulations and high standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

• Dish Room / Washing Duties:
  Maintain the dish machine, ensure minimum temperature requirements are met, clean the dishwasher, change the water as needed, clean curtains and traps, air dry dishes, store properly, and re‑wash dishes as necessary.
• Cleaning:
  Remove trash, break down boxes, conduct scheduled cleaning, maintain floors, complete deep cleaning projects, quarterly power sprays, and assist with other areas such as the associate break room.
• Guest Service:
  Anticipate and respond to varying levels of business to meet internal and external customer needs and assist teammates to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Cost Control:
  Use equipment properly, follow cost controls to reduce expenses and waste, monitor use of cleaning chemicals, and help reduce breakage during washing and storage.
• Works Safely:
  Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company, brand, local, state, and federal regulations, operate equipment safely, and follow incident procedures and emergency protocols.
• Self Management:
  Produce required volume of work by planning, organizing, and prioritizing duties, adhere to attendance, grooming, appearance, and work rules, and attend required meetings.
• Other Duties:
  Plate for banquet events, assist with food preparation and production assignments such as bulk vegetable prep, and support other areas as needed.

• Some high‑school coursework required.
• Dependable, detail‑oriented, customer focused, capable of working repetitively in a fast‑paced environment.

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds continuously during the shift.
• Ability to complete physically demanding tasks such as walking, standing, carrying, and moving about the dish room throughout the shift.
• Prior dishwashing experience preferred.

$18 - $18 an hour
