Facilities Technician

Our client, a leading organization in facility management services, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting facility operations and ensuring the optimal performance of building systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

* ** Shift:
** Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment across all systems to ensure continuous operation.

+ Perform preventive maintenance and monitor repairs on Mechanical, Plumbing, Structural, Fire, Life Safety, and Control systems.

+ Record readings, make adjustments, and calibrate equipment to maintain optimal performance levels.

+ Maintain safety standards by adhering to departmental policies for hazardous materials and workplace safety.

+ Monitor the quality and cost of work performed by external contractors and ensure compliance with safety procedures.

** What's Needed?*
* + High School Diploma or Equivalent.

+ 2-4 years of experience maintaining and repairing commercial building systems.

+ Ability to analyze and troubleshoot Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and HVAC systems.

+ EPA 608 Type II Certification required; EPA 608 Universal Certification preferred.

+ Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel.
