MV Advancements is seeking a dependable, hands‑on Facilities & Fleet Maintenance Technician to support the day‑to‑day care, maintenance, and upkeep of our buildings, homes, and vehicle fleet. This role is essential to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming environments for the people we support and our staff. The ideal candidate is adaptable, safety‑focused, and comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

What You'll Do
  • Perform routine, preventative, responsive, and proactive maintenance on MV Advancements' facilities, including offices, group homes, and other owned properties.
  • Assist in maintaining the MV Advancements fleet of vehicles by scheduling and coordinating maintenance and repairs, cleaning vehicles, ensuring safety equipment (belts and lifts) is operational, and completing monthly mileage logs and inspections.
  • Install and repair minor household or office fixtures such as shelving, light fixtures, doors, and hardware.
  • Complete seasonal and exterior maintenance tasks including gutter cleaning, winterization, de‑icing walkways, pressure washing, landscaping support, and debris removal.
  • Transport furniture, equipment, and supplies between locations and assist with recycling and disposal needs.
  • Research, purchase, pick up, and transport approved supplies needed for maintenance projects.
  • Communicate clearly with departments regarding scheduled maintenance that may affect their operations.
  • Respond flexibly to project changes and facility or vehicle emergencies.
  • Complete all assignments with attention to safety, quality, and timeliness.
  • Uphold MV Advancements' mission, core values, and high standards of professionalism.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Passionate about service and a desire to support others to achieve their goals.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction, remodeling, or facility maintenance.
  • Strong time management and project organization skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with respect and consideration for others.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.
  • Willingness and ability to complete all required trainings within designated timelines.
  • 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver's license with at least 2 years of safe driving history.
  • Ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States at the time of hire.
