As a Maintenance Technician at Fitch Irick, you’ll help keep our properties running smoothly and safely. You’ll work with a team of professionals to maintain beautiful living spaces and a high quality of life for residents. The role involves routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and proactive, detail-oriented work to keep communities in excellent condition.
Your Impact- Property Care: Maintain the upkeep of grounds, buildings, and amenities, including cleaning, trash removal, and regular inspections.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance to prevent issues and ensure HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems operate smoothly.
- Timely Repairs: Respond quickly and professionally to maintenance requests with minimal resident disruption.
- Unit Turnovers: Prepare units for new residents, ensuring cleanliness, functionality, and high standards.
- Emergency Response: Handle emergencies efficiently and document incidents for records.
- Compliance: Maintain safety and Fair Housing compliance across properties.
- Experience: At least 1 year of general maintenance experience; property management experience a plus.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and a proactive mindset.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 100 pounds, bending, stooping, and outdoor work in various weather.
- Team Player: Reliable, collaborative, and able to take ownership of tasks.
- Certifications: EPA/CFC certification is preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license required.
- Travel: Ability to occasionally travel between properties.
