Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team. The Maintenance Director will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the facility's maintenance operations to ensure the safety, functionality, and aesthetic appeal of the premises.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify maintenance needs and address any issues promptly.
- Coordinate and schedule routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations.
- Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and tools necessary for maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Manage the budget for maintenance-related expenses and seek cost-effective solutions.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests outside of regular business hours as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to support the overall goals and objectives of the facility.
- High school diploma or equivalent required;
Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or related field preferred. - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a healthcare or similar setting.
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other relevant maintenance areas.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices for facility maintenance.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
